Hi we are arriving 5 minutes after you on the Bristol flight, we are thinking of hiring a car at the airport. If we do,there is a 25 euro fee for picking up after hours, payable locally. If you would like to pay the fee, we are happy to give you a lift. Not sure how much a taxi is, but think this is cheaper than half a fare, from our research so far.
Let us know if you are interested.

Guys Guys Guys ....... please tell me whats wrong with hiring from Theo , he will have the car waiting at the airport for you , and he has never charged us any 'out of hours' fee ..... and you are supporting an Arillas business to boot !!!!!! www.arillas-cars.com

Thanks for the info about Arillas car hire....we didn't know they would deliver a car to the airport. We have now booked a hire car from Theo, who seems really helpful.

So glad you've got the low-down "hippopotandmouse." (BTW love your forum name - PhilnJen sounds so tame...) Theo is one of another lovely Arillas family, there are many of them. And this forum is another Arillas family. We've been accused of being a clique, but we are a club - we connect with each other because we love being in Arillas and many of us have spent time together there. And indeed in the UK since. Membership is free.

I could be patronising if you are like so many, an Arillas Addict who has been xxx times. But if it's new beware - you wil never be the same again. It isn't surprising that in August many Corfiot familes make holidays in Arillas. It is such a special place.

Not only will Theo deliver your car to the airport, if you don't really know the way to Arillas you can follow him back if he's got time to wait for you.

Hi hipopotamouse,
thanks for the offer but unfortunately I have now booked a taxi, via Theo.  I put on the request for a taxi share back in December and when I had had no respones up to yesterday I needed to book something as time was running out.  Maybe we shall meet when there and have a natter and a jar,
Regards

No problem John, a jar or two sounds good if we bump into each other.
We came to Corfu 13 years ago, but this is our first time to Arillas. We have read lots of great reviews, so are really looking forward to our holiday!
