Title: Re: travellers cheques Post by: Eileen on June 01, 2007, 07:44:19 PM Hi Welshboy,
The two travel offices in Arillas both exchange sterling so hopefully they will change travellers cheques too. You might find that some of the hotels will also change them. I've not used travellers cheques for along time, I'm sure someone else will come along shortly and help you, if not you can drop an email to via their websites below: http://arkokal.gr http://www.arillas-travel.com A new travel office has just opened in Arillas, but I don't have the contact details. Was it where the bazaar used to be before it moved? Gawds I've only been back 2 weeks and I'm forgetting stuff already! Yes a lot of us prefer to take cash now and get a better exchange rate in Arillas....but I'm not going to recommend this to you as I will get the blame if you lose it!!!
