With our annual pilgrimage to Arillas fast approaching,a visit to Porto Timini seems to be a "must do",but having climbed, scrambled, yomped and swum (Arillas last September) into lots of nude beaches we would just like to relax in the back of a little boat to get there. Do any of the locals rent out small low powered "putt-putts"? Or better still ,do a ferrying service.Hope the Arillas access is bit better this year. We had a week in Santo Thomas (Menorca) in July---wonderful long, sandy nude beach right on your doorstep ---BUT---jellyfish a nightmare ,and the place is very "regimented" not nearly as "cosy" as Arillas. Bye the bye,the jellyfish problem seems to be getting worse in the western Med. global warming (remember that?) and a reducing population of turtles is being blamed.
Crawsue, You don't seem to have had an answer to your question about boats from Arillas. You can certainly hire small boats from there for use by the hour. See link on left. Maybe they will also do a boat taxi service which might work out cheaper if you intend staying for a few hours. Drop them an email to enquire.
