My sister and brothin-in -law were with us for our second week and according to Gillian therewas no way David was going to leave any thing on the beach. I was so sure it wouldnt get touched that I said I would replace everything there if it did. He told me he had £1000 in his wallet (only joking ofcourse) and then left everything there and came with us, we were in the water for a good while, when we got back he seemed surprised that nothing had been moved, I so pleased it hadnt because Pete and I were almost scint by then. Thats very true, where else would you find a taxi driver that came back from the airport to Arillas, spent time tracing you to return a purse in tact, that you had left in the taxi the day before. Viv

For some reason, it is popular for some holidaymakers to exchange names and addresses whilst on holiday.

It is not unknown to return from holiday to find a break-in has taken place.   

Another thing to be careful of, is printing your home address on your luggage label so it is visible at the start of your holiday.

We wait until the last day of our holiday to do that.
