Agios Georgios  Secluded, private and spacious “Cosmos” beach house is an idyllic place for a relaxing holiday for all the family. The house is situated on the beach at Ag. Yiorgios (St. George) with stunning views of the bay. Fall out of bed in the morning into crystal clear Ionian waters. With spacious and open plan rooms, generous windows and stone floor, the house is a cool haven in the heat of summer. Cosmos sleeps six, each of the three bedrooms with a bathroom. There is a large open plan sitting/dining and kitchen room, and spacious verandahs on both floors. The kitchen is fully equipped for those who want to eat at home; though there is a quiet little taverna with delicious fresh seafood next door. Although quiet and peaceful there are boating activities and amenities within a few minutes walk, so a car is not essential for those who want the pure beach experience.
Cosmos is situated at the northern Afionas end of Ag. Yiorgios Bay which is still wild, backed by hills of broom and myrtle and other native plants. In spring these hills offer magnificent walks, in summer you can rent a boat and explore the bay’s headlands of towering cliffs which hide sandy coves and rocky reefs. After a hot day in the sun return to the cool tranquility of Cosmos.

Villa Ionia nestles on a hillside of olive and cypress pines just below the old village of Afionas. Ionia is a private retreat for discerning travellers seeking a tranquil and beautiful setting just 15 - 20 minute walk to the blue flag golden sandy beach of Arillas with its shallow azure and turquoise waters.
Villa Ionia is ideal for those persons who seek the real Greece, not a tourist version of it. It’s most suited to those independent thinking holidaymakers who will appreciate the semi rural location in an area of outstanding natural beauty that has not been overrun by the masses. There are numerous walks very close by and also along the extensive and dramatic coastline, through meandering footpaths and tracks in the lush hills and countryside and there are several villages nearby. Arillas has an ample choice of good local tavernas and a few bars but there is also a further choice in nearby villages and St George’s bay. There are some water sports available and also boat hire facilities and from the next bay there are regular boat departures for the local islands. We hope you will wish to explore the Corfu further and so we have included a car in the price of the villa. If you prefer not to have this facility we will adjust the price accordingly though it is recommended.
At 200 square metres (2100 square feet) Villa Ionia offers ample space for families. There are several seating and dining areas including a very large open plan kitchen - dinning - reception area approximately 27’ square that opens onto a number of open and covered terraces.
All bedrooms have private en-suite facilities, air conditioning and balconies. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor. All bedrooms and reception rooms look over the swimming pool and face the sea.
