This could be read as - "Why is old Capt Bob smiling?

Whether a statement of question, he'smiling because, barring any disasters, The Night Owl team are on target to retain the League Winners sheild for the 2nd Winter.
In a very exciting match against Armourada they secured a fine 8-3 win which now means that, although Three W's took 10 points from Owlettes, Capt Bob's team command a 6 point lead. Two matches left and Three W's have to play Owl and Armour. They will need at least 18 points of the 22 on offer to have any chance of an upset. - A big ask indeed.
That said, Owlettes continue to spring suprises in matches, as they last night, when the pairs combi of Margueritta & Linda took out Mick & Willy. This ended Mick's 100% record. Maybe Owlettes next suprise will be a 8-3 win over "Bobby's Boys" ?

Meanwhile..... Night Owl left Owlettes with shell shock, but still yolking after being beaten 11-0.  Owlettes did manage to scramble home with a few eggs, sorry legs, though.
It may be "ada" for the Armour, next week, to hatch a similar result with Omlettes

Three W's now need to beat the Owl 11-0 to win the title. With only one match left this seems a hard boiled task indeed. Night Owl will soon whisk the winners sheild away and feather their nest ready for next Winter. Three W's will have to "lay" low and together with Armour and Owlettes plan to fry a little in the Summer Sun then come back with a vengeance next Winter.
We all look forward to presentation of awards when Capt Bob and Team will all, no doubt, be twittering away with glee and WHY NOT!

Hya all, thanks for the darts photos!!
I just asked for some on another thread before I found this!!
Only tried darts myself decades ago in a pub in Guildford, Surrey,
and I was absolutely lousy at it. Had great fun though!!!
