Hope you get a bargain this year Jo. So far, it is looking a lot cheaper than last year.

Just booked last week June next year, Gatwick 6-00 flight with reserved extra legroom seats, extra baggage weight, £350 return for two of us.
Happy with that

That’s a great price. I am tied to the Summer hols as work in a school and also I couldn’t get my usual July dates so I was dreading the Aug prices but got 2 returns going out 6th Aug returning 20th with 2 cases all in for 390. Quite happy with that after the prices being ridiculous last year

£390 is good for August, well done.
Cos I'm tall and my wife suffers from fibromyalgia we prefare seats with more leg room so that whacks ours up an extra £58 over the two flights, so I could have got them for £292 if we had standard seats.
But happy overall

Glad you sorted Jo and at a reasonable price. No having to fly from Gatwick next year!

Wish I hadn't have looked now. Definitely some bargains. We have already booked with Ryan air from East Midlands which is better for us but if we had waited and booked with easy jet  from Manchester. then we could have saved about £200.

We would have been a bit cheaper with Easyjet from Manchester than with Ryanair from Brum but the extra taxi fare to Manchester would have been the difference and the flight times from Brum suit us better than the Manchester ones so I am happy !

Yes, we would have had extra petrol to Manchester but not £200 worth. I guess it comes down to preference as well and convenience.
