Easyjet's holiday plans
« on: November 19, 2019, 10:36:43 AM »
Hi
Easy Jet is going into the package holiday business. Called Esyjet Holidays, it will be officially announced today. Launches before Christmas
They will offer flexible breaks that can be booked anytime of the week coinciding with its flights.

Hi
Never realised they did package holidays already.

Just checked on line and the press say Easyet are relaunching the package holiday aspect following the collapse of Thomas Cook as they feel its something the market needs and they could benifit  from it.

Just read that although they sell over 20 million flights a year, only half a million book accommodation.
Relaunching to try and capture Thomas Cook customers. Should be some decent deals, certainly cheaper for us when we went to Madeira.

Like you say Dai they are filling the vacuum created by Thomas Cook and trying to get some media attention by announcing a "relaunch" .

Well unless they reduce there exorbitant price rises since the TC collapse I can’t see how they can possible make it affordable? Speaking of bargains, take a look at the weekend.com app. For anyone who likes cheeky little two night breaks it has some brilliant deals and includes both flights and accommodation. We have just booked 2 nights in Marbella next month for £60 each (all in!!). No idea if owt will be open like 😂
