We're off to Arillas on Monday and just wondering what people would advise ?
Is it better to take sterling get money changed over there or is it better to change it here?

Any help would be much appreciated :)

Hi we always take a little with us but change most of it in the village.  Normally a better exchange rate over there as well, think it was 1.43 here today.  When I put a post on here last week someone replied saying the rate was currently 1.46 in the village.

Can't wait till next Friday, soooooooo excited

We're just back from Arillas and we took euro travellers cheques but Vasillas at the Marina exchange desk told us it works out better to take sterling and change it over there.

when i was in arillas between 1st to 15th the ratec was around 1.46  day trip to sidari revealed 1.48 to 1.50,i don't think it'll make a lot of difference if you get your euros from m+s here or change in arillas,by the time you pay commission in arillas i wouldn't think there would be a great difference
