Pedalo to Gravia
« on: May 17, 2007, 02:18:10 PM »
Hi all
Last year we hired a pedalo and pedalled out to the island of Gravia.  It took us about half an hour to get there and same back (at a leisurely pace).
Just wondered if anyone else has done it, and if they enjoyed it.  We loved it, my partner even managed to step off the pedalo on to the island just to say he'd done it.

We haven't gone over to Gravia yet, been to Arillas 4 times so far but it looks way to strenuous. I can confirm that the pedalo's are there again. On Sunday evening they were all being towed down passed the Coconut to the beach. Arillas is waking up!!

I might just have to take another pedalo out, maybe round the cliffs this time.

hehe we thought about attempting this, but in the end weighing up all the effort against sitting on the beach - you can guess which won hehe

Speaking of underwater, that's why we wanted t go over there to see if there was any snorkelling to do.
Guess the pedalo might float away tho !

I have often tried to make it to the island but it always seemed to get further away the faster we pedaled! I will make it my mission this year to set foot on the island.  Hope its not like 'Lost' where I will be met by 'The Others'.....

We hired 2 pedalos and went out to the island (we sat in the back and let the kids do the hard work). We got one of the pedalos with a ladder on the back and did some diving which was fantastic.Well worth the effort.
