Have just been on internet and they have changed the flight from a Friday to a tuesday from our local airport.  They have been flying on a friday for years!

We noticed that last yeasr when thinking of booking. We fly on Mon from Gatwick and that was hard enough to get off from work. Friday siuted me perfectly as that is my day off.

I preferred fridays too.  I only work until lunch time on a friday so it was a bit of a rush, but now will have to take an extra day.

Also it was good to have all weekend to washing, ironing etc!

They must have found a cheaper slot to operate the aircraft, traditionally Friday and Monday are Corfu transfer days, we don't have a base in Norwich so I don't have any information to hand but most of the main players at MAN and LGW still do the Friday and Monday rotations.

I would agree with that, so at least some good has come out of the flights moving :)

Hi all - we fly tomorrow - from Leeds Bradford.  Unfortunately we don't land until 21.00 so if Corfu airport is busy we could be quite late arriving at Kaloudis...
Presumably all eateries will still be open?

I think thats roughly when the Norwich flight lands.  You will probably get to Arillas around 10.30.  There is an eaterie next door to the Malibu on the main road that is open late.

Thanks for that - better than trailing around looking for somewhere when tired from the travelling. Once I've got some food inside me again (and alcohol!) I can start to unwind. Holiday officially starts Saturday morning for us (oh no - probably there'll be a Thomson "welcome" party..?? That will be interesting

Is it just on a Tuesday for this year only?
Because when i try a booking for next year it comes up as a Friday flight.

Possibly but the dates won't be set in stone yet, Friday is a traditional changeover day.
