« on: July 20, 2007, 08:22:58 PM »
we stayed at perry&jimmys from the 2/7/07to16/7/07 .we changed money at various places in arillas including rainbow, arillas car hire and the rate hovered at around 145/146 to the pound  with 2%commision charged for each transaction.still worked out better than m/s or post office.if youre worried about taking all cash ./dont/there are plenty of safe deposit boxes about the resort .just enjoy.

Jo
Just came back from Arillas. Olga's Travel giving 1.465.
Hopefully all the house snagging will be done by 1st week in August. Probably when we get the final bill I'll need all the free Ouzos I can get!!.

Hopefully, by September the rate will have risen to over 1.5  ;-)

The reason I mention this, I have found a number of times the rates are worse in the main holiday season. (Don't know about Cor Phew though)
In reality it is probably only pennies per transaction.  But I need all the pennies I can get.  :-)
