Oh that’s good.  We want to try the bar on the top and we go down to San Stef for breakfast on the beach too the. Walk back along the main road and cut through. I did hear there was a bus that goes between San Stef and Arillas. But is that a myth 😀

So far as the Donkey Track is concerned, work was done to move it inland a few yards away from the cliff edge.  Unless this winter has taken its toll I believe it to be okay.
Now for a W.  Have picked this one from 3rd October 2009 taken from the balcony of our room number 37 at the Kaloudis Holiday Village. WINDOW ON GRAVIA

HI ALL

X FOR XYSTUS VIDOS ISLAND
(in ancient Greece) a long portico used by athletes for exercise under cover.
(in ancient Rome) a garden walk or terrace under cover.

The island of Vidos
The small, wooded isle of Vidos lies just half a mile from Corfu Town's Old Port, allowing you to glimpse the
historical buildings of the Old Town and St. Spiridon's church, framed by pine trees and clear blue sea. Known in ancient times as the Island of Hera, sister of Zeus and goddess of marriage, the seemingly tranquil paradise of Vidos has lived through much history. Under Venetian rule, which dominated Corfu Greece from the 15th century to the early 18th century, tunnels were built linking Vidos with the main island. Criminals were tried at the Old Fortress in Corfu Town, and then transported through the tunnels to Vidos island , which was once Corfu's 'Alcatraz'

Hi
I have been doing my best over the past few months to keep the forum going. Haven’t thought much about photos as I don’t take many, and without looking, I gather it’s a bit of a fiddley process to add photos

Dont get me started on adding photos.  I had loads of trouble years ago and had to be guided every step of the way.  I bet I won’t remember now anyway 🤣

You can do it Sue. I'll message you.

With posting the photo of Spiros (Thalassa), I must say that we are looking forward to seeing him and Aggi more than ever this year. Their daughter is beautiful and Helen is already thinking about buying baby clothes, aged 6 months, to take in June. Spiros and Aggi are a lovely couple. Eating at Thalassa isn't just a meal, it's always a wonderful experience.
