Very clever to find me Kev behind that olive tree.  Will have to try stowing away on that ship next time.

Sonia: Yes it was early May and three years since we had taken a holiday abroad so I had that pale English winter look about me!

Best wishes
Pat

So we move onto the letter 'Q' which is one of those quite difficult ones.  However I'm going for QUENCHING MY THIRST, which I'm doing with an Alpha beer, in a taverna on the waterfront at Kassiopi - September 15th, 2016

P.S. (The strange alien creatures in the background were under a camouflage netting to shade the sun, casting slightly peculiar shadows).

I reckon those strangers, in the background, were "Zombie Speedo Hunters"
(Take care , Patrick)

On 7th September 2013, Billy Kaloudis took us in his speedboat to Ericousa (which means heather island), and we enjoyed a tour of the island, a visit to the refurbished WINDMILL and a meal at one of the tavernas, followed by an afternoon on Porto, one of the lovely beaches.

Ereikoussa - by the old windmill
by pj's memories, on Flickr

From Wikipedia: Ereikoussa (Greek: Ερείκουσα , Italian: Merlera) is an island and a former community of the Ionian Islands, Greece. It is one of the Diapontia Islands, an island complex to the northwest of Corfu. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality of Corfu, of which it is a municipal unit. It is located off the northwestern coast of the island of Corfu, and is almost equidistant from Corfu to the southeast, Mathraki to the southwest, and Othonoi to the west. There is only one town on the island, also named Ereikoússa. Its population was 496 at the 2011 census and its land area is 3.7 square kilometres (1 sq mi). The island is rich in green forests, filled with cypress, and olive trees. It has two beaches, Porto (Πόρτο) and Braghini (Μπραγκίνι); the names are of Italian origin, and date back to the period of Venetian rule. Braghini is rarely visited because it is further away from the main part of the island.

A is for accordian being played by one of these talented musicians who I am sure you have all seen in the Tavernas in Arillas. This photo was taken at Viineremos in June this year. They also came into Thomas's one Night. Love listening to them.
