The pension that pays for me to come to Arillas is courtesy of Colman’s of Norwich. I worked for them for 20  years.

Sorry to be Un-British guys - but if it's with steak (or Stake :-) ) then for me it really has to be French Mustard. But I daresay I will have to change my cosmopolitan ways as it will probably be banned now we are out of Europe.  LOL
....
Oh - and sorry, but I was reading Facebook as well - but I wasn't complaining,, honest.

Tis been a cold Arillas today and even now, at 6:30pm , we have a 9 deg outside temp.
I have rubbed French mustard on my left leg and Colmans on my right. (Won't tell you where the full grain went)
anyway...... Brouklis says they will recomend the mustard which is the best leg warmer.
So there....... back to Arillas today, where Dimi, this afternoon was busy with his wind surfing, and then sat in Kostas on the beach , dripping everywhere. - (maybe a mustard poultice would have perked him up???)
Cheers
Negg

We had Lincolnshire best sausages for lunch yesterday, but sadly the mustard ran out on us.
My number three son has rallied round and ordered from Amazon a one pound tin of the superfine powder which should keep us going for ages.  Tesco only sell 2 ounce tins so this should last 8 times longer.
I note there have been complaints on Facebook that all we talk about here is mustard;  well I say chacun à son goût.
All the best - Pat

Home safely , yesterday afternoon, avoiding all pot holes and empty mustard jars! -

Today there was a good number of people gathered on the beachfront.
Believe it or not. They ( well not all of them) came to celebrate the WINTERSWIMMING GROUP of Arillas.
Some people have the courage to swimm even in the winter no matter what the weather. Some pictures may convince you to just come stay in Arillas in the winter and try it your self.
Unofortunately when I arrived the were all out serving drinks and cakes .
I managed to spo the Local Pesident of Arillas together with the Mayor of North Corfu Mr Georgios Machimaris who is famous for his winter swiiming activities.

under this link you can find information from the event in 2017
