Welcome you guys and I think that you may post a few more times now the "ice is broken" - Reckon we may see pics , after the beer festival.
Arillas kicks off , today, with a respectable 24deg. - Not sure if I could handle your 34deg.
Cheers

Arillas today finds me sitting with a 31 deg outside temp , at 6:30pm.... WOTSALLTHATABOUT????
I just wanna sit and enjoy a whisky and ginger beer but sit and try and organise darts bits for those guys who work all day and have no time.
---- Customers come first... they tell me this all the time.... so I stick my numb bum on a seat and try and sort things for them.
--- Gold star for Kevin  and Karl and others who can make my life easier.

There is no rain forecast and , I think , I may stay in bed all day tomorrow with the aircon on. All I need to make this a cracker of a day  is a TV in the bedroom but I may have to settle for a puzzle book.

Cheers

Jo
I have just read your lovely post and it's written so beautifully.
I'm especially enjoying reading the Arillas forum at the moment as unfortunately we won't be visiting this year and this would usually be our second week there.
However, things are looking good for next year but in the meantime please keep posting everyone and thanks Jo for bringing Arillas into my home.
Enjoy the rest of your holiday!

I thought it looked a 'tad' breezy on the webcam yesterday Neil judging by the waves.
My husband absolutely loves the waves and the bigger the better.
Unfortunately, I had a very embarrassing episode a couple of years ago trying to swim in the waves with my husband (although I can laugh about it now!) I was leaving the sea to return to our sunbeds and the biggest wave came crashing over my head throwing me to the surface below. When I finally managed to get back onto to my feet (very dazed I may add) Dimitri  quickly came to my rescue with a towel.
Unbeknown to me I  had descended the water with my bikini bottoms still swirling around somewhere amongst the waves!
Enough said about that, apart from I now tend to venture into the sea when it's calm! Haha!

The above post is something of a warning to all.
Yesterday on Arillas beach a French lady lost her life whilst out swimming amongst the waves.

Be aware, the sea can be so inviting, but can be so cruel.
Condolences to the family.
Take care in the water, be safe.

Tis sad news indeed. Found this , early morning , but did not want to report it. - But the sea can be unforgiving!!
Finishing the day with 32 deg at 6pm and rain is "earabouts" or "thereabouts" probably to punish the "layabouts"
Rain would be good tonight to refresh the land. (and, of course to drench a few people , at short notice , for the hell of it!!)
Cheers
