We'e told here that, if any rain at all then, Weds/Thu is favourite,

Believe it or not. - Sometimes I do wish I was there grafting with you, even with a bit of rain.

I too am glad my children are out of school now as we can go whenever we want. August is too hot and busy for me, and I love children "I just couldn't eat a whole one"
We went to Paelo in August one year, never again ! Enough said the Italiens were quite annoying !
It was our first visit to Arillas last September, perfect for us and even our 17 year old daughter.

Is that a local group or something to do with the weather?
What don't I know about, again?

We were outside, on the balcony from about 8.30 to 10;30 Greek time. So I reckon If it was see-able we probably just missed it. Typical.
( Shame it wasn't a local group  - They'd be back next week )

Arillas today, again very busy.
Beach is packed like yesterdays "Picture of the Day"
Currently 31 deg at 4.30 pm. - No "real rain" now for at least 13 weeks.
Our local fireman is obviously worried. - He's been "on call" recently.
Even when I'm out cutting down bone dry weeds I don't stop for a ciggy break.
(It's that dry.)
This type of weather is obviously new to me.
I'm told that, when the rains come they will come with a vengeance.

I hope that there`s no fires etc. It would be dreadful. It`s a good idea not to smoke near all the dry stuff. It wouldn`t take much to cause a fire, I bet. So, looking at the above, I won`t need a pak a mak. Bfn.

Today's update.
A right 'ole scorcher - It's still 34 deg now at 7 pm.

Arillas is busier today than the last time I posted it as "Heaving".
If you arrived on a push bike you would have struggled to park.

I found out where some of the Italians go in the evening. Mon Amour. I've driven past a few times around 8 ish and the cars parked outside/around.
Looks like an up-market outdoor car showroom.

We're showing 33 deg at the mo with a time of 6:40 pm. Even this morning with the mist at 9 ish it was still very warm. Be prepared though, because it is very, very busy.
( But there's plenty of beach and everyone's sharing the sun )
