 - to prevent my tyre deflation, I can confirm that I didn't tip Dimitris off about the pug shooting past at 100mph. Someone did though?? Who grassed Eggy up?

Was it you????

100 mph ? - OK , I confess that I have sometimes touched 110 kph and I also confess to hanging on to Noufris's shirt tails coming back from Corfu one day.
(He lost me just before Agros, with a neat overtaking job, leaving me behind a tortoise)
But then he is the best driver in Corfu!

So, Riggers, as per your request I have cleaned the car. Not out of chhoice however as I have picked up so much mud recently, under the wheel arches, there was a danger, that when it all dried, the car wheels would fail to rotate

Anyway, who was this "bombing" up Arillas main street this afternoon?
He must have been touching 60mph but, with feet squarely placed on road, he had no choice to skid to a standstill.
Yer can't see the face but the car gives the game away!

( If only the service was that fast - Only joking - Really )

We have a terrific day here today with 17 deg in the shade! This weather seems to be bringing everyone out. There is a JCB and a "Cat" at Akti continuing with "pool work" and Malibu has nearly finished it's extension. Mirage are getting some very nice palm trees planted so a picture opportunity there soon.
( Not saying what it cost them but I could have bought a secondhand car for that ! )

Lisa n Steve - Bardis Sun Hotel looking good with Air Con now fitted on all appts. And ... where did those TV's, being delivered, go?

Finally a very nice view of Arillas taken from the hillside around Afionas.

Terry W and Phil n Jen
Just to make sure about who reported a fast Pug I may have to reduce the air in the tyres of any transport that you both hire.
( Look out for a swarthy Englishman in false black mustache when you hire a car )

Cheers
Negg

Sandy & Joyce
Course you are !- And I have to go back to that track tomorrow to collect my exhaust.
( Only joking - Honest )

The "Kavvadades Track" down to the house is a mess at the moment. Made worse today as our neighbours are having their water pipes sunk into the ground with the help of a JCB.
.
MUD EVERY WHERE.

Another very good and warm day here today though so a couple more and things will start to dry out considerably.

Yerknow-It was just about hot enough and pleasant this afternoon we could have quite happily gone to the beach and had a bit of a sunbathe.
I've caught a tan just digging the garden. - I now have a light brown head !.

Negg thanks for the post and photos, they really cheer me up.

Remember asking if we want any specific photos taken?  I would love a piccie of Vavilas and thomas & family if they're about, and of course, the Tria and family.

Sharon - First an apology to you.
A lot of Tavernas, around North Corfu, use their places as a part 2nd home and storage area during the winter. I went to Vavillas today and they do just the same.
For this reason it felt like an intrusion into their privacy to take a photo.
( Probably a bit like taking a picture of "Posh" in hair curlers and face pack.)
When we near the start of the season, and they are raring to go,I'll click a pic.

Meanwhile, that ole pool at Atki Arilla Inn is taking shape.

I spoke to Spiros, son of Stammatis, who says it will be ready by April.
He reminded me of a link, through this website, to theirs.
www.aktiarillahotel.gr
The photo was taken from their conservatory area which has now been opened up.

And................... The extension to the Malibu is now finished.

That will be a very nice area for the summer and, now a favour from you all.
If you have a drink there, then mention to Yiorgos ( George ) that you saw pictures of progress on the Forum. I think that, just occassionally, he doesn't know just how the Arillas Website works for everybody. But he's beginning to understand "Forum Power"
( and , just maybe you'll get a free drink )

Interesting ongoings at the Hotel Marina. It looks very much like they are having a lift installed for that 3rd floor. The lift carcase looks to be installed and there's a large pallet of goodies there marked electrics/Lift/Escalor etc.
I may be wrong so don't take it as Gospel.

So,a good Arillas yet again. Around the 15 deg mark this pm. I saw Dimitris and will update the webcam Horizon post shortly.

Now, after dragging this boat 100yds too find the best spot I tried a photo.

Just spare a thought for me here as I then had to drag it back!

Cheers All

There was a typo on the images links that prevented the rest of the txt.

And this is the boat I had to drag 100 yds up the beach to get a good photo.
( Maybe I should have left it where it was - Would have saved dragging it back )
