Yassas,

Yes, good things always come to an end and this reporter is signing off the job as of tomorrow 09.00 when the taxi arrives to collect me to take me home with a bitter sweet sigh. :(

But before that we still have one night on the tiles in the village and there is some cold Royal Ionian and Portugal playing Germany. :)

So it is yassas from me and yassas from her :D
Life is good ;)

Hi All.
Another beautiful day again here. The temperature on the Kaloudis thermometer was nearly hitting the 100 mark today.

Said Goodbye to a few friends from previous visits earlier. (very sad) no see for another year.

Eggy are you trying to get rid of us a day early, we go on Tuesday.  :)

Off next door for a Mythos.. Yammas.

Sorry Riggers !

( An extra afternoon for a drink then? )

I haven't ventured too far today but I can easily believe that temp. It's still 31 deg here now at 6:20 pm.

Cheers

Paul D - Erga will be missed by all of us , I reckon. - Roll on September!

Arillas Today is finishing at a  "healthy" 33 deg  @ 6 pm.  We knew it was going to be a hotty because, even at 9am, it felt far too warm to work outside.

Plenty of people once again taking advantage of the beach.

This last pic was taken, fom the jetty, looking down at the very clear water.

( Only looks 2 inches deep does it not? - I didn't jump in to find out! )

Plenty of Forum members about, so I'm told ,but I only found Riggers.
And what better excuse to have a cool drink and put the world to rights.

Finally, the Marina Hotel new pool looks open for business with some people taking advantage of it. It's looking good and that surrounding grass is growing well.
I like the idea they have done with the surrounding sunbeds but you will have to come to Arillas to find that out, as I'm not telling!

Cheers

Arillas today must be an "out n out" cracker and, at 7pm here at, Kavvadades we still have a temp of 34 deg!

Not been far today but trying to re-vamp the garden. I'm currently waiting for a drop in temp to get back out there. ( Maybe 9pm it should be cooler! )

Blondegirl

Good question, but do you mean is is still light or am I rat***ed by then?
*****************************************************************

Arillas Today might have been hovering around that 32 deg mark and it may have have loadsa people enjoying the beach and the sun glinting of the sea must have been a pic to die for, but today is a VERY SAD DAY!

After losing Erja & Heidi last week I said goodbyes to my recent drinking partner!
Mr Riggers, who leaves tomorrow, and I have swapped many stories over the last 2 weeks and I hope that his opinion of an "ale" and a story has been, like mine , very enjoyable. Come back soon Matey! and best wishes to Sue, who lets you out during the afternoon with an ole soak like me!

Now I have to advertise for a new "drinking Buddy" , or 2 . Who will now apply?

Terry W maybe , but if his drinking is as good as his computer knowledge I may not be able to keep up with him. - Maybe just let his tyres down on the hire car!.

Sandy - Here tomorrow - Doesn't drink a lot - Spills most of it! ( Alledgedly)

Applications invited !
********************************************************************

Bumped into Lisa & Steve today. - Steve does look like a 2nd Eggy. Should I get him to open any Fetes for me - If I am ever asked that is!

Missed Fiona and Roy yet again and Hannaka ( Heineken ) goes home today.

Arillas is really buzzing today and Riggers tells me that yesterday was "chokka Bloc"
In my opinion, just what Arillas deserves for all the effort that local people put into it.
( and I'm still not taking a pic of Akti pool - leave it as a suprise - BBB will enjoy that)

Cheers
Negg

Either way Eggy, I didnt know what to put ;-)

Glad you met Lisa and Steve, they are really nice couple, we have met them in Arillas the last two years, also Peter and Evie.  If you happen to bump into them again say Hi from Mike and Sue (aka blondegirl), hope they are having a great time, no doubt they are!

Cant believe Riggers will be winging his way back home... it has gone so quick.  We have 10 weeks before we are over now it will soon whizz by and then our holiday will be like a "flash in the pan" (not literally I hope) and will be thinking of next year.

I am sure you will be inundated with offers Eggy :) I can vouch for your sense of humour and appropriately politically incorrect joke understanding ;)

I miss Arillas desperately especially travelling home today in the underground with about 10.000 workers from the currently quite depressed City and being forced to lean against a smelly armpit of a taller person with a person leaning against me from behind with a bag and terrible case of halitosis :( Grrrrrrrr.....

But I will be back there soon enough ;)

Life is good ;)
