Backup your Data
« on: August 15, 2007, 02:35:28 PM »
I have just finished doing a restore on someones PC at work. Luckily for the person concerned, we have backups of all data.

Now, while you are reading this, have a think about your data on the PC you are using, or if you are at work (smiffy etc), your PC at home. Is it backed up? If you were burgled, had a bad PC virus, or had a failed hard drive would your valuable photographs, music, account files, emails etc be lost forever. I bet that less than 50% of the people who read this post have their data backed up.

I have seen many people who have lost all their data. Please make sure you backup your data at least once a week.

Sorry to be a bore, but I felt I had to make these comments after the problem today

I use an externat hard drive to store all my photo's, music and files that I use but do not connect it whilst I am on line. I hope this will keep everything safe.
