Hi everyone
Were staying at the Kaloudis Apartments 28th September for two weeks, can anyone tell me if everything will still be in full flow or will things be winding down. The reason I ask is that we really would love to experience a traditional greek night for my wifes 50th birthday and just wondered if we will be able to or not. However if the resort is closing down thats not a problem as we want to relax anyway, just wondered?
Thanks for reading this, and happy hols to you all

Hi smifco,
We have been right up to the 3rd week in October and found a lot of places still open including a few that still have Greek nights so Im sure you will be fine for eating and will be able to experience a good Greek night on your wife's 50th, Wish her a happy one from us. Viv

Hi Smooch, Have only been to 2 myself but both included the dancers in a few sets each with a different change of costume its great to watch and then they got some volenteers up and tried to show them some of the moves and all danced together. Both were really good nights. Viv

A good sense of humour and a lack of embarassment!
If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.

Ha ha - Mum' side of my family are Greek so I'm sure I've been mortified enough in my life!  Not sure how Julian would manage though...although saying that after a couple of beers he'll dance with anyone!

Dave, we are booked for that week (half term) a week later than we expected. Staying at Marvel. We are not sure what else might be open, but Marvel and Armourada / Vasillis supermarket will be.

We are hoping that for the weekend 27th/28th that some more might be, including Brouklis, the Nut and Yiota. But if not, won't bother us unduly. By the middle of the week, I would be surprised if anywhere but Marvel and Armourada are still open. Sharon at the Pool Bar usually opens earlier and longer than others though.

Our Octobers have all been very good in terms of weather (so far!) as last years pics might show....

But you can expect anything. Have had a few rainy days but, not many during our five end of Octobers so far. 6th time this year!

It's a lovely time to be there for us.

Smoosh, may be seen as cheesy by some but Marina's Greek night on the seafront every Saturday is fabulous! I am sure that this will be still ongoing end of September, and even better, the hosts will most probably have more time to spend with you x

Steve & Carole

If they are open, Marina is excellent,  local family dancing to some well known music, and to some lesser known, poignant stuff .

Some of these posts are from 2007!

But if it's of any use to anyone, I have read on FB that Marina will shut around mid October (15th I think was mentioned.)

So sorry to miss your birthday Sandy. We were both really looking forward to it, but have now got used to the idea of the week later. At least we're going.....

You'll just have to be there for the 70th Phil!

Spoken to Billy at Marina and he assures me Greek night will definitely be on while you are there.I agree with Jo that Marina is probably best Greek night if only for Telis dancing.Enjoy your holiday.

Do you have to book this in advance - would love to go on one of the Saturdays we are out there....... or is it entertainment put on for whoever is in dining on the night?
