WHEELCHAIRS

does anyone know of suitable accomodation for a wheelchair user?? my son is 15 and now  in a wheelchair...we would love to come back to arillas next summer

Bardis Sun Studios have rooms on the ground floor and you're not too far away from the beach/tavernas etc.  Have a look at Corfu Escape for more details - there's a link on the home page!

Hi emmapatricia,

The Horizon Hotel has slopes and a lift, and is also near the sea so there are no inclines to negotiate. When were there last July one of the visitors was in a wheelchair so I know that it is suitable.

My wife broke her leg two years ago, so I did find out how difficult is to get around with one. It was fun letting her go on downward slopes though. One thing that really surprised me was the amount of people that would not give way or would get agitated in a shop if the wheelchair was in their way.
