Terry your right that will work (when the source image changes, once a day? and you refresh this page), but why?.
Probably it is best practice to provide a link to the page
http://www.crati.it/anim_sat.htmbecause at the mo every time this forum page is opened the image is pulled from their server increasing their bandwidth
(without visiting there site) which they might have to pay for or if this was a very busy
forum we could over run their allowed bandwidth, not likely but there is a possibility!.
Also is there any copyright on these images?
.
OR find out where they retrieve their source images and write a script and put it on arillas.com?
Its actually a series of 7 images
last_im-6.JPG, last_im-5.JPG, last_im-4.JPG, last_im-3.JPG, last_im-2.JPG, last_im-1.JPG, last_im.JPG
run by a javascript slideshow!.
The images are on their server BUT how they get them from
http://www.eumetsat.int/Home/index.htm I cant see!!!.
maybe a subscription is required?? (copyright?) and some ftp/email service is provided, I think it is the old Meteosat site?.
I haven't got the time to read the info on the page at the mo, kinda busy with other stuff.
OVERLOAD
enuf tech stuff!!!, I'm drifting off the original thread.
