Ron and Sue. indigo648. Arillas has worked its magic on you all. Just let it in and be seduced. It is a very special place to be. Join us in celebrating what you have found. Ariliacs will understand. Yammas

Phil

PS if you have stayed longer and more times than us, I am sorry to patronise. But I have to promote the place I love so much.

Lost count of our visits to Arillas but will be back on 27th August for 3 glorious weeks.
Our daughter has heard so much about our favourite place she has decided to join us for a week. Really looking forward to introducing her to the Arillas way of life.

Justphil     we do not feel at all patronised.Have been visiting Arillas every year since 1992 sometimes 2 or 3 times a year.Although we feel like we are coming home every visit we still get the feeling that we will discover something or someone new each time !!And we normally do.Hope to meet forum friends during our ten days.Roll on 15 Sept.

Well this time was Alex for us. We stayed in the rooms above his house twice, 2003 and 2007. Up past Anna Studios, before Christos.

He is in his eighties, and we were determined to find out if he was still alive. Ha Ha. Outside Graziella one day in July, an old man called out to us "Hello Phil. It's Alex." He was pushing his grandaughter in a buggie. Big hugs followed. We met him twice more, in nearly the same spot during our stay. I didn't recognise him, but he recognised me. Such is the Arillas that we all love.

Phil

Justphil        Pleased that you met Alex again. You obviously have a far better chance of surviving into your eighties in Arillas than in UK.And like all Arillas residents they do remember you. That is part of the thing that the resort so memorable.

A little funny tale, when I was in Zante last week for my sisters wedding, on the first night we entered a restuarant and the owner cried, welcome back my friends!! Even though we had never set foot in the place! Somehow Arillas seems the genuine article!
