Profile pictures

Hi all at the mo I'm about to throw my laptop on the scrap heap. I decided it was time to update my profile with a picture but I can't get it to work any help or ideas well and truely needed please. x

hi Lou

just had a look at my profile. You need to click on the Profile tab on front page. Then on the right hand side you will see Forum Profile Information. Click on that, then choose "I will upload my own picture."

Next to that is Browse... button. Click there, then find the pic you want on your own computer. Once it appears in the text box, go to the bottom of the page and click Change Profile. If I'm right my new pic is now online... If not, then sorry - i can't either!

You think the same as me, I had to do it to make sure I had it right before I wrote this. lol . The only thing I will add is that when I was happy that I had got the photo on I couldn't find Change profile with out moving the page to my left, wonder if thats the problem because it had me stomped for a few moments. We all want to see the new picture Lou. Love Viv

That's the problem I've had Viv because I've been unable to change mine. I'll try again....

Oh dear....now I seem to have deleted it altogether...lol

This is the best I can do...when I try to use one of my own pictures I can't then shift the page up to press "change profile"....what am I doing wrong Viv?

Hi Sandy!

The first time I tried before posting to Lou, I tried to use a pic that was much too big. The whole computer just stopped working for ages. So I shrunk it in PaintShop Pro to be 320 by 240. Then it worked easily.

Probably no help at all - unless you already use Photoshop or Paintshop. Oh well - have another retsina on me, and forget about it!

Hi not having any luck at the mo can find the picture in the browse click update and get done and a blank screen!!! My best friends over tomorrow shes better a this sort of thing no drink for her till its done.

My Pic was to big so I uploaded it to photo bucket first the thing I like about them is instead of having the measerment it tells you what they are used for, e-mail, forum, profile pic ect: much better then tecy talk. Try it. Im of to work now and hope to see your new photo's when I get home. Viv

Thanks all they are angles but the horns do appear sometimes. Right done my photo next my ticker!! good job my friends back to me on thursday heheh lol x
