Just spotted this JCB on the beach so looks like they are getting it ready for us :)

We are all very jealous (but pleased for you) Sandy.  How long has it taken from start till finish? Is the house finished now or is there still some more work to do.  When you showed me the location last year it looked like it was going to be idyllic.  And WHEN are you going to put a profile pic on the forum?!

Thank you all so much for your kind wishes. I am SO excited but also a little apprehensive. Egg and Wegg have been up there today to make the beds....what would I do without them? And indeed all my friends in recent weeks....

I am hoping the house will be habitable but there is more work to be done on the exterior and also loads to do inside unpacking and sorting things. However, you can rely on me to get up to a few things while I am there and will hope Dimitris will assist with a couple of Pictures of the Day...

I shall think of you all when I have the first retsina at Brouklis on Wednesday night. Here's to good season to all our friends in Arillas.

Once all is sorted Sandy we're sure you'll have plenty of "Happy Days"
( Who needs light bulbs - Well take some candles over , just in case )

Forgot to say.

The beach is in the process of being "tidied up" although it looked pretty good before.
It seems like they are widening it on the left hand side of the jetty.
( More sand - less stones )

LOL Eggy....Wendy just emailed to say she thinks there was one light bulb in each room. But who cares....I'm bringing a torch and I don't think the shutters are on yet. Must consult Terry's moon chart to see if there will be any help from that!!!
