we are hoping its nice and hot again this year in August.  I have 3 weeks to soak up the sun.  last year we had 20 minutes rain the whole time we were there.

Sue I'm sure you will cope no problem... relaxing in the shade with a long drink and a book. :-)  Bliss.......

Hi Sue

just a thought - it was exceedingly hot last July (45C recorded one day) but sitting in Anna's covered terrace bar with a cold beer, a good puzzle book and generally chilling and chatting with all and sundry - you'll cope!

best wishes
Phil

Weather in August Sue?

Last year it was so hot that we took ice cold water, in flasks, and competed with the doughnut man on the beach. ( Any jam in those doughnuts had liquidised by then )
I remember frying eggs n bacon on the bonnet of the red pug and Wegg selling the "butties in a bun" - Chips were extra!

But.... really - August is OK. Be aware though it will be very busy with visitors from Athens and Italy as, I think they take a lot of holidays during this month.

Yer'll luv it - Plenty of shade and places to go round.
