Asda online are offering 1.2154 if you buy £500 or more, delivered to your house next day. How's that ??

I take mostly Euros and some sterling just in case. (mainly for airport duty free).

You would do well to avoid changing your money at the airport. When we flew back in to Newcastle last friday I noticed the Travelex exchange there only offered 1.14 euro's to the pound. At the time the rate in Arillas was around 1.24-1.25.

HELP!!  I'm confused now! (It doesn't take much )  We usually take about £1000 sterling and change the whole lot in Arillas. I thought the exchange rate was better there. Reading all these posts, would it be better to have it changed here?  :?  :?

Used the ATM in Arillas on 24/5/08, just checked my bank statement and I got 1.221 exchange rate. My service charge was £1.50 as I bank with Halifax.

Thanks Phil,

I'm sure we will enjoy it... After all, reading all the posts on this forum by so many people can only be positive.

I think the forum gives a fantastic insight into what Arillas is like, and we like what we are reading !!!!

We like the quiet resorts (always Greece though, because of the people ) and this is why we picked Arillas, although I dont know if Arillas will be ready for our 3 year old daughter !!!!!

Cant wait to get there to find out though !!!!!!!!!!
