I believe its a special as part of the relaunch of the place. How long it lasts I don't know, but it was on up to the end of last week.Worth a look in the current cash strapped times me thinks.

The best that I managed to get when we were there in May was 1.13. It's 1.15 in Lichfield today so hopefully it'll reach the 1.2 mark for August when we come back.

dont know about the price of the Ionian beers,but Amstel ranged from 3euros 50 up to 5 euros depending where you went.

harold where were you drinking? 2 weeks ago in the nut the price of a large mythos was 3 euros and two at happy hour (8 till 10)
the royal ionian at sea breeze was 1.50 for a large draught.In fact the prices for draught beer have not gone up for the last 2 years.

The good news when I got back to the UK this time is that I am still not being charged for cash withdrawals on the Nationwide card....I had heard they were due to start charging form 1st June. Unlike HSBC who charge £5 a time.....
