weather here
« on: May 13, 2008, 12:52:57 PM »
We have been here over a week now and it only seems like a few days Tyne difference being that we have only had 3 sunny days and it is now starting to rain again. We would still rather be here in a relaxed state then rushing about like we do there and have been told its sun all the time from tomorrow anyway, who cares not me. Be Happy. Viv

Hi Viv,

Glad you are having a good time despite the weather. I agree with you I would rather be in Arillas relaxing  than on the run here with all the stresses that go with day to day life in England.

Enjoy the rest of your stay

Last Sunday we were having a Greek salad with crusty bread. No Mythos, but I had a Peroni (which is the next best thing). We were  sat outside by the olive tree and the temperature in the shade was 28°C. I had just hung one of Perditas decorated roof tiles on the fence so I had a bit of Corfu in the garden, and I did think that I was as close as I could possibly get to to the real thing mmmmmmmmmmmm.

Reality soon set in on the following day, when I was on the M40 driving to work, ready to join the rat race for another week.

But, I really did think that the Greek meal in the garden was a bit special. I just hope we get more sunny weekends to do it again.

Roll on June 30th.

ah viv! It might be sunny here and has been hot, but I would trade the whole week for one day where you are, rain or not. I wish, I wish...

It's our silly season at College - everyone wants another pile of marking, forms filled in, assignments packed up and sent off, revision lessons, full ordinary timetable, tutorials....aaaaaargh! Thank god it's my last year ever!

Thanks for keeping us in touch, and I know you will both thoroughly enjoy the rest of your time there.

lol
Phil
