Hotting up
« on: May 23, 2008, 03:07:36 PM »
It looks to be hotting up nicely next week. It should be in the 30s for a few days at the end of the month. Those of us lucky enough to be going out soon will need to be careful not to burn their lillywhite skin. I have 7 bottles of suncream so I should be OK!

I'm going for 10 days, but then for another 10 5 weeks later. I will take it all out with me and leave it there I hope. I do go a bit mad with it, but I really don't want too burn.

Nick,

you do it right!  Better than to get burn :)
That is not very good for the skin!
So many people are not so careful and take suncream Nr. 4
I saw it so many times and they were red like a tomato
and they had bubbles on the body!
And still lying in the sun with Nr.4
I don't understand that.
Have a very nice time in Arillas ;)

Marika,

Sadly the conversion isn't that simple.

The formula is:

(('degrees fahrenheit' - 32) x 5) / 9

that is

(81 -32) x 5 divided by 9 = 27.22 degrees C

Thankfully, us oldies are slowly being converted too and I think Fahrenheit will be soon like 'shillings and pence' - forgotten!! lol.

That is very complicate!

hy we don't have all °C that will be all easier :)
Thanks annemarsh :)
Now I know! I think I learned it at school one time, but it is sooo long time ago!
I forgot :)

The last two times we have been in Arillas we have had heatwaves.  I must be gettting old as I dont like it too hot now..  It can hit the late 30 degrees and I have had it.
If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.

The fifteen day forecast has it moving into the 30s for a few days at the start of June.
