What amazing pictures. Everyone loves the Arillas sunsets, and Dimitris, you have done us proud with your sequence. ευχαριστώ!!

I particularly love the webcam pics when the sun appears to be shooting a ray of light into the sea, and it then stretches all the way to the beach. I saved one of the webcam pics like this on 8th May.

Fantastic!
Phil

Fantastic riggers! I've only got half term (now) and four weeks of college until it is goodbye Strode College, Hello Arillas.

Might not be watching the sunsets from Thalassa though. What a b****r. Hope it gets fixed.

all the best
Phil

Jen just showed me another one at 1940 today. The ray of light goes past the sea, all the way up the beach. Breathtaking!

if you missed it, see the sequence tomorrow before sunset!

Hi Dimitris,

These sunsets really are amazing. Are you able to save each sunset or is the previous evenings sequence over written? I only ask because it would be nice to compare the sunsets and see all of the variations which are transformed by cloud and weather conditions.

This forum and website just gets better and better!!!!!!!!

Great photo Lynne/Colin. I've just about managed to digest the last of that Chef's Salad from the Marina by the way !! :) :)

Apparently my last attempt got crowded out - did get a red error message but post got lost. Hope this isn't a repeat.

Lynn that was a special picture. Jen and me could sit and watch that sunset for hours.

We know exactly where you were standing. On the way to Coconut, Thalassa, Graziella or Brouklis for another Arillas evening?

best wishes
Phil

Thanks to all for nice comments.

Paul, I never did see such a big plate full before - it was massive!  Did you get back without getting drenched?  We didn't!

Phil, you're right, it was one of those!  But not Thalassa, as they were shut :(
Yammas,

The waiter in the Marina took pity on us and offerred us a lift back to our studios (having an old lady in tow has it's benefits) - of course it would have been rude to refuse !! Enjoyed the night

Paul and Maria - Jen and me just been debating this one.

She said "don't you dare! what about an old man like you - that should work...."

D'ya reckon I'd qualify?? I dislike pickled onions and jelly babies..
