Methinks I need to clarify a couple of points here. Firstly when I said that had just finished digesting my salad from the Marina, it wasn't a comment on the quality of the food (it was delicious !), it was a comment, as I'm sure Lynn & Colin will verify, on the size of it. When it arrived I wasn't sure wether I should eat it, climb it or jog round it !!!!!
Secondly, the old lady in tow wasn't Maria, but Maria's mother. Hopefully that's me out of the doghouse & back in the big bed ;)

Paul, you shouldn't have anything to worry about. I also wonder whether to eat, dance around or climb onto the large portions of food. I never want to upset my hosts so I eat three times as much as I usually do. So does Jen. It's why we always put on so much weight in Arillas!

Jen and me are getting to be the old lady/old man. Quite often we'd love to be towed! So we just keep joking about it. Seems the best way....

As for the big bed, we've got our stories, but they're for us....
lol

Sunset Video Number 1 with music

VEry nice Terry,

As far your question is concerned,
The images are not saved but overwritten every day,
so it would be nice to if you ( or anyone else)  could do this in a regular basis so that we can have an arillas sunset video gallery in youtube!!!

Ill will be posting this links to the Video section of our website too.

Viv,

I am still trying to find out the title of the music. I know the composer is George Kolias. He was born in Cyprus and now lives in New York. http://georgekolias.com

EEG sent me two fantastic Greek songs but it was difficult to make them fit the length of the video because of the lyrics. An instrumental is easy to edit to  fit the duration of the film.

Dimitris,

I have saved four sunsets so far, and I will try to save as many as possible.

Hi,
Some excellent work on those stunning sunsets. They are not the easiest things to capture on film/digicard as they vary so much. Well done!
Whilst I was in Arillas I obtained a C.D. called 'Anthology of Greek Music', instrumental 25 bouzouki hits, from a gift shop near Malibu Bar. There are some great tracks suitable for background music or just getting into the atmosphere of Arillas when viewing you photos!
They had a good selection of music and as far as I could tell, the only ones selling C.D.S.
Yammas,
Martin.

To be honest Cheryl I am not that good, its just that I have spent many hours a day from the late 1980's "messing" and I am lucky that a major part of my job is to use the internet and to try out new software. Helen has always said that she feels as if she is a computer widow due to all the time I spend using one, and I am often "in trouble" :-(

I loved doing the sunset video because I love Arillas, I love sunsets and I love music, and I must admit that I did actually get goosebumps myself. Its also been very enjoyable, over the last few days, listening to lots of Greek music.

Martin,

Thanks for the info about the CD and I hope they have some left when I go in five weeks time.

I had another play at lunchtime. I have speeded up the first three sunset videos and combined them. The music has three phases that I have nearly managed to fit the three videos. Have a look at the vapour trail on the last video that looks like a shooting star.
