Hmm, I'm not sure on this one!  As we don't go for the regular 14 nights, we often book outbound with one airline and then book the return with another.  Why not book one way and do the same, albeit from Corfu, when you are ready to come home?

Most flights you can now book just one way so that is by far your best option.

Ash-Wolves

Never heard of open return tickets but, with easyjet, singles back to the UK are petty cheap if you can go at short notice.

I've seen them from £35 each inc all taxes etc. - To Gatwick

That all we paid... £75 each return to Gatwick.  All depends when you want to go I think.

You could always drive down mate. Obviously going through Italy and getting on the ferry is far less hairy than the high road through Albania, Croatia etc. One of my DJ mates used to do it when they were all in Ipsos in the 80's and 90's, apparently takes about 38 hours if things go your way but a lot of that is done on the ferries!

Nearer the time for coming home you can easily give Sue a ring at Castaway travel in Acharavi and she will book your return flight...that is if you do decide to return!!!

Ryan-Air do cheap flights to Brindisi Italy, from there you could get a ferry, single person without a car isnt expensive.  You could do a return trip if you cant get a cheap flight back.  Just an alternative thought.

i'd suggest easy jet, the flights are so frequent you'll be able to get pretty much anything to suit you.

Is it a diesel or petrol?

Only kidding mate, you're probably right. With the cost of fuel as it is you could probably hire a private jet down for the price of the car trip!

Hi,
No, open returns dont exist anymore as nearly all fares are based on one ways.
On the rare occasion where there is a special return fare, the reason it is special is because you have to committ to a return date. ( And pay all your money up front!)You can book a ficticious return date on some return fares and then pay the penalty to amend it.....best to book a one way.
