platform
« on: August 20, 2008, 04:16:22 PM »
I have just had a look at the webcam picture, which I dont do very often, there is a platform near the jetty which I hadnt noticed before and it wasnt there last year.  Am I seeing things or has it been there for some time and whats it for?

Is it a plane, is it a boat....or just a pontoon for swimming off?  Now that is going to bug me - or is it JustPhils own landing strip!!  :-)

Hi BG
Not sure what you can see on webcam but when I was in Arillas the pier was exactly the same.

I must be going mad then... it was to the lefthand side of the pier and there wee 3 people on it and it was moving in the sea... now I know I have lost it!!!

I went into webcam history and did 20 mins before... The camera did seem to be in a different position, more straight ahead than at an angle towards the pier.  Very strange!

It looks like the webcam is capable of "zooming" now, because you can see the "platform/stage" quite well, and like riggers said you can see the spotlights on the stage.

It also looks like the picture of the day is showing some of the actors dressed for tonights performance, or its Barry getting dressed up again.
