Marina Pool
« on: September 22, 2008, 10:10:01 PM »
The new pool at the Marina Hotel is brilliant.  Being right on the sea front it is a good compromise for those who have one partner preferring the beach and the other the pool!
My other half faced his sun bed to the beach and was able to hop across the road into the sea when he felt the need to cool down.
There was only one downside....chilling on one of the beds which are partially submerged in the pool, after a few drinks from the poolside bar.....I dropped my book in the water!!!

Excuse my photography - the pool is level!!

Wow that looks great. Just what the place needed.

Wonder if George will run accross the road for drink orders. Now that would be good!

George was too busy shouting "Shark in the pool" and running across the road wearing arm bands and telling us he was  learning to swim.

Vasilis and Sharon did a great job in keeping us supplied with drinks from the pool bar and the Royal Ionian went down a treat!!

This pool and hotel are absolutely fabulous well worth a visit. Sharon is very friendly as are all the staff. This is great addition to the seafront of Arillas a lot of thought has been put into the planning. The feel of the place is friendly and relaxed. Vasillas.George in fact all the staff nothing is too much trouble

Looks really nice and inviting. Just looked at the photo I put in A-Z and it hardly seems possable that it wasn't really that long ago, what a good job everyone has made of it. Viv.

Nice seats and little tables too, people were sitting there in the evenings having a nice drink and watching the world go by.... very relaxing.
