Alex supermarket down at the sea front. Don't buy them myself, just leave all that behind and chill.

Agree Paul. A month without credit crunch, murder, party conferences.... no wonder it felt like heaven!

I am ashamed to admit we bought a newspaper most days during our last week in Arillas.  It became part of a ritual of walking down to the beach, along the front, buy a newspaper and two cans of mythos, sit on a bench looking at the sea/read paper, drink mythos, carry on walking, stop off at another watering hole.  Repeat last two until done.

Part of my routine on my solo holiday was to walk don the beach, get the paper and sit in Thalassa reading it over lunch. Bad news every day but when you are in Arillas you just feel strangely detached of the evils of the world. Which is nice :)

Only thing to moan about them is that because of the heat and sun cream, the ink gets stuck on your fingers and then I tend to smear it on my face and and....:D
Life is good ;)

We only bought one in two weeks.... then it was depressing..  I did see/hear one guy with his english paper placing his bets on his mobile phone - not seen that before.
