Thetis

Hi all,
Been back in England a few weeks now after another wonderful 14 days in Arillas, thought I'd let you know how we got on staying  at the Thetis with Olympic holidays.
First off, the flight from manchester was fine, transfer fom corfu airport was as stated in other threads , big coach to sidari and then a mini bus to arillas, all in about 2 hours not bad.
Arrive at the Thetis about 8 a.m met by Spiros the owner of the Thetis and escorted to our room and shown how everything works etc. Very nice polite chap. This year only my wife and I traveled to Arillas so we booked the studio for 2/3. What a pleasant suprise the room was huge consisting of bed, bedside cupboards, double wardrobe, with lit mirror,  large sofa which can be used for a 3rd person, table and chairs and a kitchenette area with fridge and cooking rings.
A large bathroom with bath and shower completed the suite. outside you have your own private balcony, not joined on to any one so no kids peering through the partition. the room was spotless and it was  cleaned and the bedding changed regularly . The pool was spot on with plenty of sunbeds and Spiros new  pool bar with great big comfy chairs was a nice way to unwind in the shade. Anything you are short of you only have to ask and he will try to help, aircon is available for a daily charge of 5 euros, well worth it so you can sleep with all the windows shut to stop the" Arillas super mozzi", by the way after you have been bitten rub a small amount of toothpaste on the bite, it stops the itch, worked for us anyway
to summarise, clean modern relaxing ,  10 mins from the beach,  good reps , transfers could be better but pay for a taxi if you want. Best recomendation I can give is we will be looking to book for next year.
                                cheers Chris.

Couldn't agree more with you Chris. We spent a fantastic 2 weeks at the Thetis in July and will definitely be going back.

Have looked at Olympic web site, and phoned them, but they do not know yet if they will be using the Thetis and Galini next year.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your review. :-)

I must make a point of popping into the Thetis for a drink on my next visit.

Eileen.
