Since Friday I have been saying many sad goodbyes to many good familes, which happen to include those dart players which mean so much to many of us "locals" here.
We've "lost" Jersey Steve and Jersey John and families and Matt n Joe who amused us with his 2 inch long novelty darts.
Tomorrow morning we lose Charlie n Dan n Ben n Jerry n Darryl n Snaypee.
(Snaypee - What was his real name? - I forget!)
All these guys, plus their very "understanding" familes are what Arillas needs to survive. "Understanding" because they probably spent more time on the dartboard instead of the sunbed!
Many thanks come, not only from me, but also, best wishes from Night Owl's Nickos, Capt Bob, my neighbour Makis, Jean, Senan, Heather, Leszek and Armourada's Leon n Vassilis.
Plus, of course the Rainbow Crowd of Dimi,Spiros,Yiannis,Panniotis,Alexandra.
Take a bow, you lot, at the people who have enjoyed your company!
I reckon all those "young uns" of yours will be playing next year.
And if they don't we can always find something for them to do -
(OR NOT TO DO - After all it's their holiday choice as well)
Cheers
Negg
