I wish I didn't know about it all.

Our Linksys Gateway just notified connection lost (red light) and I said to Jen "That's it - Tiscali have pulled the plug." Ten seconds later all back to normal. Bad for my nerves...

We have decided to take the advice in Terry's post (thanks for it mate) and we will stay on and see what happens. (It could be a really good respite for the forum from justphil's rantings if we're offline for a while....)

Tiscali have been the perfect ISP for us. Great speeds, cheap price, never in yer face. And the prospect of setting up our wireless network again horrifies me.

Oh well. If we disappear you know it's nothing you all said....

Phil

Good news for Tiscali customers, it looks like Carphone Warehouse could buy the company

Fingers crossed! We decided to stay with Tiscali to the bitter end but it looks like there only be a change of provider name in the bill we get every month. Here's hoping... ;)

That`s good to know.  No need to change provider- luckily we`ve had no problems with Tiscali (yet).

As long as we don't notice the change or the speed, and they don't demand more money we are sorted. Otherwise it will be a very loud "I do not believe it" and off to pastures new...

take care "margaret"
