What's open in April

Just wondering if anyone knows what is open in April, in and around Arillas. Restaurants, bars, shops?

Last year in April, the Creperie was open, Captains was and, also the Horizon at some points of the day. The Bakery supermarket is always open as is the one opposite the Armourada.....and while I was there other places gradually opened up. Alex's and Yiota's opened pretty promptly at the start of May.

Out of the village, Night Owl was open and Mon Amour.

I'm not sure you will get to the beach much.....I went once last year.....although it is warmer than here, it's not exactly beach weather......well, it wasn't last year....we can always hope for more this year. I went once  at the end of April and I swam....but only there for a few hours one afternoon.....

Wouldn't need to swim Sandy. I would happily sit on the beach in my anorak, sipping a tin of Mythos and dreaming, watching the sea crash into Gravia and strolling up and down for hours...

Then off to any one of the open venues for whatever I could find to eat, drink and be merry...

Absolutely phil....I just wouldn't want people to think they will be toasting on the beach every day in April....you may get a couple of good days and that will be a bonus as far as I am concerned at that time of year.

There are two sunbathers on the beach here today!! Rather them than me, although it is a fabulous day, cloudless and sunny with a fresh breeze.

Sorry All - Only just picked this post up.

Not sure what's due to open but Armourada stays open anyway. Akti has been open for drinks. Not sure about Capt's Table.

Iraklis ( Heracles ) has been open most of the time.

Currently open, further afield, are:-
Night Owl - Afionas - Fri/Sat/Sun evenings for food.
Mon Amour - Kavadaddes - Every Evening
Lavendis Bar - Kavadaddes - Evenings for BBQ Souvlaki /chips / Salad.

And... a few places in Sidari. The one we like in Sidari is " Vivias" ( On the outskirts of )
( I think thats how you say it - Vivias before Diellas Supermarket on the right)
They have a special Greek dish every evening and live music on a Saturday Night.
Two guys with guitars and bouzuki and very nice too.
( Plus the goat on a Thursday aint bad or the spit lamb on a Saturday )

I just had an e-mail from Arillas, and the creperie is open now, but only for drinks so far.
