Fabulous spot ! Despite years of visits we always have to stop here to contemplate.
One year I drove up to here early on our last morning in the days of Sunday flights.
The faint sounds of distant church bells drifted upwards through the mists from several villages. It was very moving and has remained fixed in my memory.
A few hours later we were at Corfu airport, which is something I CAN forget !

I think it was You who was the inspiration Phil - I found a post that said we didn't use the gallery to its full potential - so now I'm going to bore you all with my holiday snaps from the last 15 years of visiting Corfu! (I've actually been going since 1984 but I haven't got those pics digitised)
Have put a shot of Paleokastritsa on, I've got a great one that's a series of shots stitched together to make a wide panorama of the whole bay, but it's too big to fit the gallery size criteria so you will have to make do with half a bay!

Home is where the heart is - CORFU :-)

Watch my blood pressure John - a view like that might even get me up on that thing... And I would sit for hours picking out what I could see and recognise.

You'd never get Jen up there though... not an earthly.

See you soon
Phil
