Lovely shot Dimitris - thank you :-)
I know what you mean Jo, poor little beach has taken a bit of a pounding over the winter hasn't it?

Just watching the webcam & could see the buldozer on the beach filling a wagon with seaweed etc...so maybe all will be ok......

I got quite a shock when I saw the beach last week. I'm sure it will return to normal soon tho. We were told it will improve as the wind changes direction. It's still a lovely place to be tho!

Yes. I'm sure you're right Maggie. And despite the hammering it's taken over the winter, I know there's no other beach where I'd rather be :-)

Maggie luvver, there was a time it mattered to us, but unless Brouklis is underwater I will be back to my Arillas whatever. It is still THE place to be. If Anna Studios is underwater we really have to start worrying!

Dimitris.  Thanks for the latest pic.    Will be standing there  for real in less than 4 weeks.    Will call in to your place for some fabulous food- the first time for us.

 See you soon.      Paul D

Hi Paul
Listen to Dimitris' eulogy about what's best, then ignore it. And if you like fish, ask for Bourdeto and galactoboureko. PhilanJen and TerryW can't both be wrong... Push him and shove him. Argue. Give him some grief.

And then eat what the boss recommends... it will be the best shot! Sadly he is always right....

lol both
Phil

Hi, Phil.  Wouldn`t dare argue with ` The Boss`.  What he says, goes!!!!!

Will try most things once, so maybe I`ll be adventurous.  We`re not big fish eaters (only small ones!!!),  so will have to take Dimitris` advice.  Enjoy yourselves when you and Jen are there.

You will really love it at Brouklis, Paul D - we've only been once before to Arillas and ate mainly there (and two other places) and hoping our first meal will be at Brouklis!
Let us know what you think when you get back

lol Paul. Jen just shouted "have the sardines then!"

But Dimitris and Roula's spit roast lamb is legendary. Delightful. Delicious. Sofrito is to die for too, and on that I can vouch - one of my fav Brouklis meals last September. Try stamna everywhere as well - Portofino, Thalassa, Grazella, ah, anywhere. They are all brilliant. Love fish, but eat meat as well.

But, I have a special assignment for you Paul.

In June, just you look after our riggers for us. We need him back on the forum in one piece in the Autumn (well, so we all think. To be honest,  we couldn't care less..........)

When he buys the round, have a Mythos. When you buy it, get him a mineral water. He will be far too polite to argue for several rounds at least, then when he does, as he gets too sober, collapse on the floor and go home "feeling ill." He will then dance the night away, and at 10pm, PhilandJen will come and rescue him.... Sue by our side, the Greek police as backup....

I'm getting bothered about the beach - will nature have sorted it in the next 18 days???  And was it seaweed the bulldozer was removing, or was it the donut man's so-called "Frash Froot"??? :-)
