We are going to Arillas on 31/07/09 & wondered if there is an ATM in Arillas & do restaurant generally accept debit cards?

It does indeed accept both credit an debit cards. But make sure you let your bank knows that you will be using your debit card abroad so that they wont put a stop to it.

Lots of places don't have the facilities for credit/debit cards. Brouklis does, but not sure about other places.

I know Thalassa, Graziella and Portofino do as well - we used it in all three. Hope that helps
