Please don't say it's true
« on: September 07, 2009, 11:59:14 AM »
Just had a look at the weather forecast from the link on the Home page for when we arrive on Friday.

It says 50% chance of thunderstorms continuing throughout the weekend. Thought we would be leaving this sort of weather behind.

Arrh Rothers. It is a bit disheartening to think it might rain whilst on holiday, but I'm sure the weather will be O.K for you. The only time it has rained for us in Arillas has been very early in the season - beginning of May & that was for just a couple of days. Now last winter, in February was a different story. I've never seen rain like it!
If you do experience a thunderstorm, they don't last long & if they occur at night, they are actually quite spectacular.
Last year we visited Arillas for the last two weeks of October which can be a bit unpredictable, but we had two weeks of fantastic, unbroken sunshine. You just never know.
Whatever the weather, you are sure to have a great time in Arillas.

Wishing you lots of blue skies & sunshine.

Thanks for the comments folks. We were on Kos last September when they had a most spectacular storm on one of the evenings.

As long as we can get to a taverna we will be OK.

huge tornado.

Hello bmw!!
I'm a tornado addict.!!!!
It rarely happens and they keep only for seconds. As I was never able to take a proper picture or video of a tornado in Arillas. I will be very please if you could  manage to share it with us .

I hope it won't put anyone off coming to Arillas  :) :)

Just returned today - sadly, We had two huge storms while I was there - both over quite quickly and immediately sunny and warm straight afterwards so I'm sure you will be fine.
