Is it me?
« on: September 23, 2009, 07:40:36 PM »
Maybe I'm being dense but for several days now I cannot see anything on the webcam.  It just says "connecting to media" then does nothing.  Once I thought it was working but then it said it was offline.  Don't know what to do.  I can see the weather cam history pictures though.  Anyone out there with the same problem or knows how I can make it work?

Hi All,
I thought at first it was my Apple Mac computer stopping me from using it, but apparently only a few are able to 'view' at any particular time. I have never been able to see it since it changed, I just resort to the 'last 12 shots' mode, just as good.
Just been sorting out things to take with me, only 8 days to go! Hope the weather in the med area improves, there's a big low there at the moment. Never been to Arillas in October before.
Yammas,
Martin.

The webcam was streamed from http://www.camstreams.com/scenerywebcams.asp but it isn't listed any more. If you click on the link you will see some quite interesting live, webcams, but the most important one isn't there at the moment.

I know there has always been problems with speed and low bandwidth so maybe Dimitris is changing the hosting again of the streaming cam. The weather cam is still taking the still images as show here http://www.arillas.com/page/en/-webcam/

Here is another link to see the weather webcam http://www.arillas.com/webcam/history.html. If you move your mouse over the times at the bottom you get a good idea of how the clouds have moved.

I am only guessing about the webcam and I am sure Dimitris will soon be putting us in the picture.
