I'm combining topics here, but I wish to thank Dimitris for his St. Spiridon report and the tranquil picture of Arillas' beach in winter, as well as Terry W for his Christmas video "Wish you were here" (Arillas Forum > Welcome to Arillas > Photo Gallery Board > Wish You were Here?), where the music of Blackmore's Night and Terry's spontaneous and immediate photos of Arillas as we remember it combine to create a perfect Christmas gift cum nostalgia trip for us all. As for the weather, Corfu gets quite a lot of rain, but most of it falls in winter, when we are not there, ensuring that Corfu stays green and fresh and beautiful even through the hottest months. We have visited Arillas in September 2006, 2008 and 2009, and the weather has been just perfect. Emeralddragons
