Got to come out in support of The Marvel. We have always enjoyed our stays there and found the staff and family to be very friendly and helpful.
Wish I was curled up on one of their comfy chairs reading my book instead of scraping the ice of the car to get to work this morning.

Our first visit to Arillas 6 years ago included a stay at the Marvel. We were of the opinion "there are too many places to visit so never go to the same place twice!" However our first experience of Arillas changed our minds.

A big part of this was our stay at the Marvel & the welcome received from the family - particularly from Spiros & Kostas.

We can understand why some people may find them aloof but if you take the time to have a chat with them you will find they are two honest, warm & welcoming guys with a wicked sense of humour!!

We know this seems hard to believe on first impressions but we can assure you this is true & think this is apparrent by the replies of others who have taken the time to get to know the family.

Paul always says that if they were English they would be northern lads who would tell it "as it is", honest & fair.

We have only stayed at The Marvel on 2 of the 9 occassions we've visited Arillas but are made to feel welcome each time we call in to say hello, no matter how much we spend!!

We look forward to seeing them again this year!!!

Just picked this up.

Marvel , bottom line is:-
Good people who want to do well for all guests.
Never heard any complaints about the food.
One of the few places to stay open in Arillas over the Winter and look after us all.
A good advert in itself!
( recently had a big binge there for Sharons ( Marina ) birthday party.
A very popular pool away from the "front"

If we didn't live here this would be on our short, short list of somewhere for our hols.

Cheers
Negg

We once stayed at Irene Villas which is situated right next door to the Marvel. Despite never staying there, we always found the brothers absolutely top blokes who always send a drink to our table when in the coconut and always speak when they se us. When we first encountered Arillas, 12 years ago, one of my first memories was the flags outside the Marvellous (as it was known then), a lovely lovely family and lovely set up

Just a note about the food- we`ve ate there a number of times and enjoyed every meal.
As Eggy says, a great pool also. ( Have they still got the pool table?).
