At the end of the day on a 2 week holioday the different rates quoted on this posting will not make us rich or broke, it is our holiday and no matter what arillas will get every penny we can change to have a great time, be that a little or a lot - bring it on, Monday in the Rainbow once again.

Hear hear Paul and Denise. I am aware of the exchange rate discussion, but often wonder why folks bother - the differences are so small compared to what you spend on flights etc, one should use whatever is most convenient. In our case it would be the ATM, but sadly we can't any more.

Have a great stay at the Bow, and give Spiros and Jimmy and all of their families our love and best wishes. We won't see them end of this October, unless they want to join us for an out-of-season drink, but certainly will on 14th July next summer. DONCHERJUSTLOVEM??? (Apologies to humptydumpty)

Thanks for the info Val, i never knew you could pay sterling cheques back into your bank account and that option suits me (like you say if we have some left) The last time we went to Arillas it was Drachma currency to start the holiday and then good old sterling cheques, everywhere weve been since then, in Europe, weve always had ATM facilities so no need for cheques. The question was never about how do i save 10 euros over the course of a holiday in Arillas with currency exchange. Thanks again.

The only thing you have do if you're paying into your own account is you have to counter sign in front of the cashier just like when you cash them.
Hope you have some left! Lol Val x
The love affair continues.

If i was over there now(boo hoo wishing I was) or anytime over the next few weeks - exchange what you need on a daily basis only - no point in having lots of Greek euros, just in-case they default - sterling will always remain strong enough in any currency - just something I heard which made sense.

How can such a w****r ever be right Sandy? Particularly in your part of the public services. I know I'd rather be poor in NW Corfu than here. At least I could drown myself in warm sea.

Will shut up now.

Unfortunately I will be leaving Arillas by 9am on the 25th....and doubt my friends will be up for late one at the Coconut the night before. So if I miss you....continue flying the flag after we've gone...xx

Such is life meluvver. No guarantee that we'll be in't mood for a late one when we get in. Who knows? Will probably head for the Nut but it will be 1am minimum, and likely as not we won't, and will just collapse in bed and wait for avrio. And not 9am....

Managed about 3 seconds with yous in Brouklis this year. Maybe we can do 6 seconds next year. Or will that be too much for yous???

loveandhugs
