Looks Wet'n'Windy
« on: June 21, 2010, 02:29:56 PM »
The sea looks very rough on the cam today and I think its raining as well. There doesn't seem to have been a long, settled spell of weather in Arillas, yet  this year.

Lets hope it really does for Martin and yourself Ger, but not too hot with all that walking that Martin will want to do. We will miss our chats with you this year :-( but have a great time.

A proper thunderstorm and torrential rain this morning, but now sunny and breezy. Much fresher than the heatwave we have been having, a welcome relief.
We took the opportunity to go shopping in Corfu Town as did many others!!

Now sitting nicely at 26deg outside and dry. ( at 17:30 )

But... think there is more of the wet stuff to come.

thanks terry! not sure if we will be able to do a lot of walking this year, as martin is waiting to have a knee replacement, so is really struggling at the moment, he never complains but by the look of the x ray its just bone rubbing together!
shame we are going to miss you this year, maybe next year

Well, we were lucky enough to have 2 weeks of glorious settled weather!  Even a few minutes of thunder and lightning on our last Sunday morning didn't produce any rain, and it was hot and sunny again in no time.

But yes, it was wet and windy this morning but then we were going home....
